Awareness of Digital Twins is growing, but gaps in the development of these skills persist among our professionals. The "Stakeholder Engagement Summary Report" carried out within the framework of the DigitalResilience project, coordinated by Oritia & Boreas, offers valuable insights into how Digital Twin technologies are perceived and used within the construction and engineering ecosystem. Participants, including students, practitioners, and stakeholders, identified key areas where Digital Twins could bring the most value: improving predictability and decision support, enabling sustainable design, supporting material optimization, and strengthening resilience to extreme weather events. The report underscores the importance of structured learning resources and curriculum integration to support adoption in both higher education and professional settings.
The DigitalResilience – Digital Twins for Climate Resilience project has its own LinkedIn profile. In this space we publish news about Digital Twins applied to engineering and construction, the progress in the development of the training platform, as well as invites to participate in the different phases of the project.
